01 Tools and kit
1.1 Take the kit out of the packaging properly.
1.2 Check the kit immediately for completeness, obvious defects and transport damage: support blades, roof covering, mounting system, screws, cover caps.
Caution: If anything is missing or damaged: report it to us immediately.
1.3 Dispose of film and packaging responsibly.
1.4 Get the power tools ready: cordless screwdriver and hammer drill.
1.5 For measuring and drilling get ready: tape measure, spirit level, masonry drill bits and screwdriver bits.
1.6 Get a combination wrench and a ladder ready.
1.7 Put on protective clothing: work gloves, safety shoes, work trousers.
02 Wall mounting system
2.1 Determine the spacing of the support blades and the centre of the whole canopy.
Caution: The centres of the support blades may be at most 1.400 mm apart.
2.2 Check that the glass overhangs at the sides by only 300 mm.
2.3 Mark the positions of the support blades and the drill holes on the house wall. The drilling template in the instructions helps with this.
2.4 Drill the holes for the mounting system at every position.
Caution: Diameter and depth of the drill holes are given in the manufacturer's data for your mounting system.
2.5 Fit the wall mounting system at each support blade position (3 pieces): with external thermal insulation composite system use thermal-break anchors M12, with solid masonry use through-bolt anchors.
Caution: Install the mounting system according to the manufacturer's instructions and adapt it to your building project.
03 Fit the support blades
3.1 Separate the upper and lower part of the support blades. At first only the lower part is needed.
3.2 Place the first support blade on the mounting system.
3.3 Fix the support blade with the matching nuts.
3.4 Check the load capacity of the mounting system.
3.5 Fit the remaining support blades in the same way (2 more).
04 Place the glass
4.1 Place the glass in the notch on the foam rubber.
Caution: The glass must sit correctly. Never carry glass on your own.
4.2 Slide the glass retaining profile into the recess of the wall mounting plate from behind and guide it downwards.
4.3 Fix the profile from above by hand-tight with the supplied screw.
4.4 Place the remaining glass retaining profiles and fix them with the screw.
4.5 Cover the hex nuts with the matching cover caps (3 pieces).
Electrical installation (if lighting is fitted) only by approved installers. Otherwise the warranty is void. The user is responsible for correct installation and use. Observe local laws and regulations. Never carry or lay glass on your own.
