Frequently asked questions
Good to know
Which roof covering suits my patio?
Polycarbonate multiwall sheets (16 mm) are the light, economical solution; VSG glass looks higher quality and offers higher snow load guide values. Both come clear or opal; opal diffuses the light and dampens the heat.
How deep can the roof be?
Without additional measures up to 4.0 m (VSG) or 4.5 m (polycarbonate). Beyond that, a cross beam with additional posts is needed, or reinforced rafters with steel inserts, which allow up to 6.05 m (polycarbonate) or 5.05 m (VSG).
Can I choose the colour freely?
There are four standard colours in a textured finish. Any RAL colour of your choice is possible at extra cost.
Can shading be added later?
Yes. Roof-mounted and under-roof awnings, vertical awnings and shade sails are provided as accessories, as are LED spots and side elements.
Do the snow load figures replace a structural analysis?
No. They are guide values from the manufacturer's documents. For your property, the location and installation situation apply; we clarify the details in the enquiry.
